Band Analyzer is a specialized Android tool that visualizes and analyzes mobile network frequency bands. It is optimized for the complex network environment of Japanese carriers (Docomo, au, SoftBank, Rakuten Mobile) and their sub-brands (ahamo, povo, LINEMO, etc.).
📱 Features
- Real-time Visualization: Instantly displays the currently connected LTE/5G bands (e.g., Band 1, Band 19, n78).
- Statistics & Graphs: Visualize your connection history with beautiful bar charts. Check connection frequency and percentage ratios over different periods (Today, 7 Days, This Month, All).
- Carrier Optimization: Automatically detects major Japanese carriers and MVNOs to provide accurate band information.
- Platinum Band Detection: Highlights “Platinum Bands” (B8, B18, B19, B28) which are essential for stable connectivity in rural areas or indoors.
- Background Monitoring: Uses a foreground service to record band history even when the app is closed. Displays a warning banner on the home screen if the service is turned off to prevent missed logs.
- Multi-Language Support (7 Languages): Supports English, Japanese, Spanish, German, Russian, Chinese, and Korean. Includes an in-app language switcher.
📤 Sharing & Export
- Share Report: Copy analysis results to clipboard as text or share directly via system share sheet.
- CSV Export: Export detailed band history logs (Timestamp, Carrier, Bands) as a CSV file for external analysis (Excel, Google Drive, etc.).

This app complies with global standards (PLMN/Android API).
- ✅ What Works: Real-time monitoring of “Connected Bands” and “Carrier Names” works worldwide, even with non-Japanese carriers. You can use it as a travel companion to check your local connectivity.
- ⚠️ Limitations: Advanced features such as “Band Coverage Score” and “Signal Analysis” are currently optimized for major Japanese carriers. Please note that these specific analysis metrics may not appear when used outside of Japan.
